Our Engineering department is looking for a motivated and detailed orientated Project & Modification Engineer

On this role, you will lead multiple small (below 75kEur) but complex modification projects focused on safety and quality, as well as providing technical support during engineering & site supervision during installation and commissioning of large CAPEX investment projects.

What will you do?

• Modifications management- Lead translation of modification requests to business cases and budget approvals in coordination with requestor quality and EHS.

• Periodically updates and maintains financial reporting on active modifications, including financial capitalization with proper documentation.

• Technical engineering- Key member of large CAPEX investments during the engineering/design phase to ensure solution is feasible and suitable for existing infrastructure and process on site

• Oversees and provides direction to designers, consultants, contractors and equipment vendors to assure conformance with engineering practices, standards and codes.
• Construction supervision- Ensuring safety standards and requirements are always followed during work on site, starting with proper planning and risk assessment.

Who are you?

• HBO working and thinking level, Industrial Automation and/or Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics and preferably process automation.

• At least 5 years of work experience with Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, preferably within the process or manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of legal directives, low voltage, machine directives.

• Knowledge of standards NEN-1010, NEN-3140, IEC60204.

• Knowledge of hygienic design according to EN1672-2 – HDN and EHEDG

• In possession of VCA-Vol or willing to follow a training course.

• Is customer-oriented, flexible, result-oriented, enterprising, honest and a team player.
