Our Maintenance department is looking for a Maintenance Planner who is the key link between production and technical service. You make sure all planned and unplanned maintenance activities are prepared, scheduled, and executed on time while being keen on safety, efficiency, and with the right quality.
This is a role where your technical expertise, organizational talent, and problem-solving mindset come together to keep production running smoothly.
What will you do?
Create and update maintenance schedules based on intervals, production stops, and priorities.
Communicate downtime planning with production and align required actions.
Decide which repairs or preventive measures need to be carried out, and in which sequence.
Determine and order spare parts (via SAP) and coordinate directly with suppliers.
Translate work orders into clear task descriptions with detailed work instructions.
Handle the commercial flow of work orders: from shopping carts and purchase orders to invoice control.
Assess supplier quotations, ensuring cost efficiency and high standards.
Plan, monitor, and coordinate contractors and third-party activities, ensuring safety, hygiene, and compliance with procedures.
Support technicians with advice and guidance during execution.
Collaborate closely with the reliability engineer on preventive maintenance plans, Bill of Materials (BOMs), spare parts management, and process improvements.
Who are you?
MBO+ level education in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or Mechatronics.
At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, ideally within the process industry.
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Solid IT skills: SAP, ERP systems, MS Office, MS Projects.
Commercial awareness for managing invoices, procurement, and supplier relationships.
Technical knowledge in electrical engineering, mechanical systems, instrumentation, and operational technology.
Familiar with HACCP, EHS standards, and relevant regulations.
A proactive, flexible, and results-driven team player with strong integrity and customer focus.
