Supplier Quality Specialist
As Supplier Quality Specialist your main responsibility is to further improve and assure quality. In this broad pivotal role, you have contacts with External Parties and a helicopter view over and through the various processes. You contribute to the attainment of QA objectives by developing and maintaining external suppliers’ portfolios, ensuring compliance towards Good Manufacturing practices, external certifications, regulations, and internal requirements.
What will you do?
You will act as the Quality Representative of Packaging Materials and/or Raw materials produced by Third Party Manufactures and Warehouses.
- Monitor and optimize the set quality guidelines for investment projects, innovations, new techniques, and modifications by monitoring critical quality parameters.
- Conducting Quality Technical qualification and maintenance audit of material suppliers & coordinates Qualification requirements.
- Responsible for Quality Technical Agreements (QTA) and TPMs performance.
- Responsible for creating Specifications / technical requirements (QTA/ MASTR) and internal Sampling Plans (SPS) and aligning Internal requirements and Specifications with external stakeholders.
- Creating and or updating Systems Data Base & ensures all system set up (SAP, GLIMS, GWINS, MASTR and other related systems) are in place.
- Update, review, and maintain Technical Documents (PPS, PMS, NPIS, Pre-PM-delivery inspection, etc).
- Assess risks for the materials ensuring that information is cascaded to Operations, Quality Functions, Procurement, R&D. Monitors critical quality process parameters, prepare trend analyzes and signal deviations and ensures RCA CAPA is conducted and implemented.
- Proactively leading deviation management, in such a way that the internal and external/legal guidelines are complied with in terms of quality, safety and hygiene, so that a safe release of raw/pack materials, semi-finished products and end products is possible.
- Support the evaluation of the feasibility of new and innovative material projects, raw/pack materials, and production processes.
- Evaluate trial results and prepares technical report and makes recommendations/adjustments based on the validations conducted.
- Monitor implementation of critical parameters, acceptance criteria and establish Certificate of Analysis (COA) forms for all inventory materials.
- Coordinating, supporting, and motivate external suppliers to improve Quality Performance and Quality Culture.
- Responsible for the suppliers’ performance and development program.
- Acts as a Quality expert and Quality SPOC of materials regarding procurement, production, engineering, and Internal Quality functions.
Ensures the implementation of internal expectations to external stakeholders.
Who are you?
You have at least 5 years of experience within Quality or closely related functions in the nutrition industry or pharmacy.
- Academic (Bachelor or Master) in (Chemical) Engineering, Food Quality Management, Food Science and Technology or a comparable science field.
- Good communication skills, verbally and written, in English.
- Strong understanding of the global/regional business environment, customers and competition, organization structure and effective working styles.
- In-depth understanding of processing, packaging, distribution processes/systems and the impact of future changes within them.
- Hands on, targeted and able to view things from a different perspective and approach.
- Ambitious, always at an excellent level to perform.
- Motivator, able to inspire people and motivate them to constantly improve.
- Stress resistant & ability to demonstrate management Capacities.
