Our Supply Chain department is looking for a proactive and diplomatic Import & Export Specialist with strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
What will you do?
As Import & Export Specialist, you will be the key expert supporting our Customer Service Team in all import and export matters. You’ll ensure compliance with governmental regulations and customer requirements, manage restitution of import duties and agricultural rebates, and maintain export documentation systems. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing import duty restitution and agricultural rebates: You’ll ensure timely and accurate claims submission to secure financial returns and maintain compliance with EU subsidy programs.
- Maintaining export documentation systems: You’ll oversee the GTS electronic export system, ensuring it reflects current product data and meets all legal and customer requirements.
- Providing customs documentation: You’ll prepare and submit product compositions and supplier declarations to customs and governmental bodies.
- Driving process improvements: You’ll identify and implement enhancements in export operations and cross-functional collaboration to boost efficiency and service quality.
- Building strong internal and external relationships: You’ll work closely with departments like Planning, QA, Finance, and external partners such as customs, forwarders, and agricultural agencies.
- Monitoring performance and compliance: You’ll evaluate external service providers and ensure all export activities align with legal standards and customer expectations.
Who are you?
You are a communicative and detail-oriented professional who thrives in an international environment. You bring:
- A secondary vocational or bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with customs regulations, export documentation, and EU subsidy programs.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and ERP/CRM systems.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- A proactive, diplomatic, and customer-focused attitude.
- The ability to work independently and make effective decisions in complex situations.
